This popular summer concert series faces the gorgeous blue waters of the Atlantic and provides excellent entertainment for locals and tourists alike! It is held outdoors, so you will have some peace of mind as you stay socially distant from your fellow concertgoers. Let’s take a deeper look into what you can expect from this year’s Bands on the Beach concert series.
Sand, Songs, and Sunsets
Starting in April, the Bands on the Beach Concert series has been offering up some tremendous sandy entertainment for free! The Santa Rosa Island Authority has graciously set this entire event up for all to enjoy. It is located in the gorgeous Gulfside Pavilion on the beach, which allows for amazing views of the performers and Florida sunsets. Yes, if you time your arrival appropriately, you will be able to witness a magical sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
Grab your beach chairs, pack up some takeout from Laguna’s Beach Bar and Grill in a picnic basket, blankets, and head down to the pavilion. Some people come with tables, chairs, candles, and a whole gourmet spread. It is all about enjoying yourself and listening to some good music. If you happen to come a little unprepared, there will be concessions available. Please note: no glass or animals are allowed on the beach.
Regional musicians and artists perform a diverse mix of music every Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Check out the remaining artist line-up online. You will find yourself surrounded by good energy, vibes, music, and people! The Bands on the Beach concert series will end on the last Tuesday of October. Kick back, take your shoes off, and relax on the sandy beach.
