Who Are the Blue Angels?
In 1946 the Blue Angels were created "to showcase the pride and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to the country through flight demonstrations and community outreach." The top Navy and Marine pilots typically stay on the Blue Angels team for two or three years. The Blue Angels schedule breathtaking and top-notch airshows throughout the United States every year.
